A follower of Jesus in the most unlikely person. . .

John 4 Study Notes
Jesus encountered someone who was considered the last person eligible
for becoming a follower: a Samaritan woman with moral and relational issues. Jesus shattered all kinds of taboos at once. First, women were second class and men didn't directly associate with them in public. Second, there was long racial discord between Jews and Samaritans; Samaritan worship was considered impure and illegitimate. Third, after five divorces she had given up on love and respect and morals and virtue.
She was the last person you would expect to be interested in Jesus.
And yet, here he was talking about living water and being the messiah.
And here she was thirsting and hearing and learning to believe.

So what does it take to be a follower of Jesus?

Believe that Jesus is the son of God. That he wants to know you. That
he can give you new life. That from the height of heaven he can speaks
to you. That there is such a thing a living water that can touch your soul.

Question for Comments: How did you become a follower of Jesus?
